Emily-Mae Kamp
FOUNDER/ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Emily-Mae Kamp has been performing since the age of two and has appeared in over 100 productions, both onstage and behind the scenes. She earned her B.A. in Theatre (Acting Emphasis) with a minor in Dance in Entertainment/Choreography for the Stage and Screen from USC. Some of her favorite roles include Janet Van de Graaf (The Drowsy Chaperone), a Witch (Macbeth), Frau Kost (Cabaret), and Thea (Spring Awakening).
Since she was 15, Emily-Mae has been choreographing across Southern California, receiving multiple award nominations and a win for Best Choreography in Orange County from the Orange Curtain Awards. She has also directed countless productions, discovering a style that blends playfulness, collaboration, and creativity. Her time teaching at The School of Los Angeles deepened her love of working with young artists, and when the school closed in 2025, she was inspired to create Studio as a new space for students to shine.
Alongside her work with Studio, Emily-Mae performs comedy in Los Angeles at UCB, The Groundlings, and The Pack Theater, and travels to schools across Southern California with The Imagination Machine, bringing stories to life for kids of all ages.
She is overjoyed to welcome you to Studio and to continue building a community where creativity, growth, and joy take center stage.

Terry Kamp
PRODUCER
Terry Kamp has been producing theatre since 2001. A true triple virgo who thrives on spreadsheets and budgets. She helped to start Debatable Productions, a 501(c)3 non-profit to bring free pre-professional arts programs to young adults post high school/college and is so excited to help start Studio for Live Arts! When she’s not working, she enjoys going to her eldest daughter’s yoga classes, traveling the world, painting her own nails, watching her youngest daughter (Emily-Mae) perform, and spending time with her children and grandkids.
