About Us

Studio for Live Arts was born from a deep love of theatre, and the belief that young people deserve a space where their voices are heard, their creativity is celebrated, and their imaginations can soar.

After six incredible years directing, choreographing, and mentoring at The School of Los Angeles, our founder found herself, along with many students and families, wondering what would come next when the school closed its doors. The answer came in the form of a new beginning: creating a theatre company that carries forward the heart, spirit, and community that had been built.

At Studio for Live Arts, we are passionate about helping young performers discover their own artistic voices. We approach every production with curiosity, care, and high standards, because we know that young artists are capable of extraordinary things when they’re trusted and supported.

We’re committed to creating a space where students feel safe taking creative risks, where rehearsals are filled with laughter and discovery, and where the process is just as meaningful as the final bow. Our teaching artists are mentors as much as directors, and our productions are built with love, intention, and respect for the craft.
